My Sweet Pekingese

I made my cute little Pekingese from a kit I bought on line. I choose him because I thought he would be the easiest to make. Easy was important because I have zero experience in making 3 D animals. Since making my doggie, I have found a craft shop that teaches how to make a small bear over in Ft Worth. I'm thinking I will take the class to see how its suppose to be done. The classes are pricey so I'm still on the fence about making the commitment.

Since that blog post I have started a new blog. I am a brand new felter. I have limited experience but I have found I love this craft. I have a new felting machine that I really enjoy. I cant decide what I enjoy more 3D felting or flat felting. I enjoy it all. I already teach  paper crafting classes at a local Joanns fabric. We are going to start teaching beginner felting classes there too. So if your in the Ft Worth area drop me aline. Come take some classes. We'll have agreat time.

Felted Pillow

I finished my new pillow. This is my first  abstract work. I started out with a bunch of  different color Roving. I arranged my Roving  on some black wool  and used my felting machine to felt it in.

Here is the material before I felted the love and the hearts on. After that I sewed and stuffed my pillow.

I'm pleased with my first attempted at Abstract Wool Felting. I'm calling it 2 Hearts Looking for Love
